About the Organization

Government Funded was founded as an organizational tool by congressional mandate in 1972 in order to facilitate the best use of federal, state, county and municipal grant funds. Prior to the inception of our organization, government grants were hard to find and often taken by inadequate or inappropriate applicants simply due to a lack of qualified candidates.

Government Funded is a large, well-staffed, well-funded government organization dedicated to simplifying the grant dissemination process. Rather than posting a list of government grants available and inviting submission, we simply accept grants from citizens, rewrite them in our office, and submit them to the appropriate agencies.

Our success rate speaks for itself. The standard of grant submissions shows that fewer than 4% of grant requests nationwide are approved, but grants submitted through GovernmentFunded.com enjoy almost 40% success (39.6% as of last June).

Our agency receives less than $80million per year in federal funding, but we place more than $3.7billion in grant funds each year, and that average dates back to 1983. We’ve assisted small, private companies and individuals with the procurement of more than $110billion since our inception.

That would be enough money to place a stack of hundred dollar bills high enough into space to knock the shuttle out of orbit (92.08 miles). That’s enough $1 bills to lay flat in a row from Los Angeles to London.

Are we ashamed or proud of this? Yes we are, but which is the real question and the answer is proud. That’s 9,000 miles of $1 bills laid flat back to face spanning half the globe, and our results (which are not verified or audited) speak for themselves (presumably). The world is surely a richer place for our work.
